Chess Pie

"Hmm... That's a toughie." say Pinkie Pie.
"Is it the first time you are playing at Chess, Pinkie?" asked Twilight.
"Maybe?" she replied. "But... I guess I may have found how to win that one."
"Oh. Really? I don't want to gloat, but I played many many times against princess Celestia and that made me an expert. Despite losing each and every game."
"Isn't that a bit... depressing to lose every time?" questioned the pink mare.
"Well, of course. But I learned a lot. The more often you play, the more it makes you a better player." told her the alicorn. "So, I'm waiting for you play. It have been ten minutes now."
"Huh? What time is it?"
"It's pass noon." answer Twilight.
"What? Oh my gosh! I'm late!" she suddenly screamed. "So, I'm taking my pawn..." she took a pawn in her hoof "...make it ride on a horsie..." she put the pawn on a knight and took them together,"... which take the queen...", she took the queen, " ...and brought her in the tower..." and then put them together on the board.
"Pinkie! That's not how you..."
"Wait!" she cut her out. "Then the king is so sad that he faints."
"Huh? Pinkie. Seriously, that's not..." Twilight began, but suddenly her king fell.
"Checkmate!" cheerily said Pinkie.
"W-w-wait! What?!"
"Got to go! Bye!" Pinkie told her before running out of the castle.
"H-how she... She can't have.... Ugh! What the heck hap..."
"Oh. She played that trick to you too, huh?" cut Spike who was walking by.
"Huh? She played against you?" questioned the shocked mare.
"Well, it was more playing than actual playing." Spike continued.
"What do you mean?"
"You know... "playing"? Has having actual fun?" Spike replied.
"Chess is very fun!" she replied defensively.
"Fun to die of boredom, yeah." he replied dryly.
"Hey!"
"Just be glad that she haven't played you her "Board Party" he told Twilight before leaving to clean the other room.
"What is that?" she asked him. He paused.
"Oh. She plays it when she knows she will lose."
"What is it?" she repeated impatiently.
"Simple. She tells you that they decided to make peace and make a party and everypony is dancing, then she shakes the board until all the pieces fell. Easy." he told her before leaving. Twilight remained silent.
"I better stop playing with her before I turn crazy." she mumbled to herself.
